Winter is that kind of a season: either you love it, or hate it. To most of us, winter could remind us of work and dark/cold weather. But it is actually the time when days like Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas take place! With the beginning of every new year also, we make our New Year’s resolutions and get excited about the things that the New Year will bring to us. Because of these, I think winter is a beautiful season to cherish. For all the lovers of winter&travel, we compiled this list of iconic winter cities to visit around the world.   1. I don’t agree with Istanbul, especially because it’s way more worth visiting when it’s warmer and greener, like in spring for example. Therefore Heidelberg and Moscow (also Strasbourg which is not on the list) are really gems to visit in the Winter period. Christmas markets in those cities are highlights of this time!
