As days are passing, the vaccination process is continuing fast in some countries and we finally have real hopes for the future of travel. New attempts and some changes coming from all around the world for different reasons. In this article, we will make a quick summary of the past week.

Amsterdam Has an Attempt to Ban Marijuana Shops For Tourists

According to Amsterdam City Counsel, traveling to Amsterdam for its coffee shops are ”very important” according to 57% of the tourists. But the invisible side of the coin, the marijuana trade causes an undeniable crime rate in the city. Officials want to stop this dangerous situation from getting worse and worse.

The mayor gave her a proposal about the ban on the city council this Friday. If the governors and the coffee shop owners can agree on this proposal, the new policy will come into force next year at the earliest. But we are not sure how the tourists will react to these new rules.

Australia Now has a More Inclusive National Anthem

Last week Australian Prime Minister has announced the change in the national anthem,” Advance Australia Fair”. It was too small but to show the awareness of the indigenous communities in the country, it is essential.

The line “Australians all let us rejoice, for we are young and free,” has been changed to, “Australians all let us rejoice, for we are one and free.” Past one was the anthem which is written in the years of colonization. But now Australia is trying to hear a respect for the first owners of the landscape.

Travel to Mars with Starship in Near Future

Starship by SpaceX is a transport system that can accommodate up to 100 people. This will be a journey to the Red Planet. The Rocket System is also fully reusable and will be a game-changer for the future of space travel and its accessibility.

Elon Musk tells his speeches that he wants to make life real and build cities on Mars. We do not know how will the “catch mechanism” of the Starship and the whole plan work. But the days we will start traveling to space are not that far from us.

Tripadvisor Launched a New Social Distancing Platform

The new website, crowdfree.me allows users to see the crowd rate of the area that they want to visit. The catchword of the site is ”Make social distancing easier. Travel crowd-free .”

As predictable, users can see the crowd in public places, stores, etc. basically everywhere that they may want to be in. For now, it can be just used in the USA, but it looks like it will be an inspiration to new attempts.
