Zagreb is the capital city of Croatia and is located in the heart of the country. The city, built around the River Sava, stands out with its charming old town and many green parks. People living in Zagreb loves going to cafés and bars so the city is very rich about them. Zagreb has Balkan culture but tries to be modernized and more European. So, you can find some of the bars in Zagreb with traditional drinks such as rakija, medica, and of course wines, beers, cocktails, and many more!
Also, I want to warn you about the payment system of Zagreb. They usually do not separate the bills and bars or cafes that serve drinks usually don’t accept credit cards or money except kunas. So if you are a tourist with your friends be careful about these. The good news, they are always giving water whatever you order for a drink!
In this list, you can find different kinds of bars in Zagreb that are the best in their areas. If you have a chance to visit Zagreb, don’t miss visiting these bars!
Mojo bar, wine rakija & co.

Near the central bank of Croatia, Mojo bar, wine rakija & co. welcomes you with its big open area in the street. Then you can see the colorful chairs and tables with some vintage stuff around them. They organize events usually related to music because the owner of the bar is an event manager. The manager of the bar and the bartenders are super amazing people and giving their everything to that bar.

The best side of this bar is they have 50 different Croatian wines and sparkling wines. Also, they serve rakija and shots with honey, liqueurs, etc. This is super amazing because after living in Zagreb for two months it is hard to find a place that serves traditional drinks except for beers.
