Valentine’s Day NYC: Best Things to Do

Valentines Day NYC

Stuck on what to do this year for Valentine’s Day? Well despite the pandemic, there are still plenty of fun ways to enjoy the city with your loved one! Here are ten fun ideas for Valentine’s Day in NYC 2021.

1. Dine in an Igloo

Indoor dining is off-limits, and it is COLD outside! But have no fear- there are still some great restaurants that have gone above and beyond to ensure customers can safely dine in their establishments.

Our personal favorite is Route 66 Smokehouse, which is tucked away on Stone Street in the Financial District. We believe in supporting small businesses, and in New York that can be hard to find, and we can say that the owner of this restaurant really outdid himself this season!

Route 66 Smokehouse lined the tiny street with giant igloos, decorated with lights, and created the most magical atmosphere. For Valentine’s day there decorations are even more spectacular! With tasty food, affordable prices, and great service, Route 66 Smokehouse is the perfect place to take your date this Valentine’s Day in NYC.

2. Fly Around the City

Think you’ve seen the best views of the city? Think again! HeliNY offers helicopter rides getting you up close and personal with the skyline, and really highlights the beauty of the city. Flights depart from both Linden and New York and vary from 15-30 minute packages.
